Enterprise Features
On-Premise Deployment
The Enterprise plan supports full on-premise deployment: BCILattice desktop app, API server, storage, and community hub all running within your organisation's infrastructure.
- BCILattice desktop app, installed on researcher workstations via your existing software distribution system (MDM, SCCM, Ansible)
- BCINexus server, self-hosted community and sync server running on your own hardware or private cloud (Docker image provided)
- Database architecture, scope a PostgreSQL-compatible deployment model for institutional infrastructure
- Object storage, use your existing S3-compatible storage (MinIO, Ceph) for session file sync
- Authentication, scope integration requirements for LDAP / Active Directory / SAML 2.0 identity providers
Air-Gapped Deployment
Enterprise deployments can be scoped for restricted-network or air-gapped operation when the deployment, update, and catalog distribution model is agreed in the contract.
- Core desktop analysis can run locally without internet access
- Offline packages can be scoped to include required runtime dependencies and approved model/catalog updates
- Model updates and pipeline catalog updates distributed via offline package
- Private BCINexus services can be scoped for intranet-only team and publishing workflows
- Suitable for classified environments, clinical data enclaves, and high-security research facilities

Pricing & Licensing
Enterprise pricing is custom-quoted based on:
- Number of seats (named users or concurrent sessions)
- Deployment model (cloud vs. on-premise vs. air-gapped)
- Compliance requirements (BAA, DPA, validation support, security review)
- Contract term (1-year, 2-year, or 3-year, multi-year includes a discount)
- Support tier (standard vs. dedicated contact)
Indicative pricing:
| Tier | Seats | Indicative Annual |
|---|---|---|
| Enterprise, Small | 10–25 seats | From $8,000/year |
| Enterprise, Department | 26–100 seats | From $20,000/year |
| Enterprise, Site licence | Campus-wide (seat count per contract) | From $50,000/year |
| Enterprise, Multi-site | All sites (seat count per contract) | Custom quote |
ROI & Business Case
Potential time savings for institutions adopting a standardized BCILattice workflow:
| Activity | Without BCILattice | With BCILattice | Time Saved |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pipeline setup per study | 2–4 weeks (custom scripting) | 1–2 days (visual designer) | ~90% |
| Preprocessing a 20-subject dataset | 3–5 days | 2–4 hours | ~85% |
| Reproducing a previous experiment | Hours–days (scattered scripts) | Minutes (Experiment Hub restore) | ~95% |
| Onboarding a new lab member | 2–4 weeks | 3–5 days | ~75% |
| Generating a results report | 1–2 days (manual figures) | 5 minutes (one click) | ~98% |
For planning purposes, a lab with 10 researchers saving 10 hours per researcher per month can create material recovered productivity. Validate the business case against your own hourly costs and workflow baseline.
